The MonDak Humane Society now has a Humane Education program in place. The first presentation was done in March 2002 and was a huge success. The program covers many topics such as things to consider before acquiring a pet, how to be a responsible pet owner and where to acquire a pet.

Animals are also brought in when it is allowed by the school and there is some hands on with the children where they are shown the proper way to hold and handle animals.
